THE IMAGINARY OF ENCELADE

It's named after one of Saturn's geyser-rich moons, and a giant, son of Gaia, whose tremors cause earthquakes, and whose breath causes the eruptions of Mount Etna. This tenebrous vetiver is carved from dense, black mataière with green glints. The verticality of the ingredient is accentuated in the top note by a fusing rhubarb, acidic and fruity, a vibrant scent of sap giving way in the heart to a smoky, leathery, powerful accord.

A big, uncompromising green leather with almost vintage accents, softened by the smoky milkiness of sandalwood. Sweetened by the bitter almond, hay and tobacco accents of tonka bean, vetiver reveals its nutty facets. Because, in a delicious paradox, volcanic ENCELADE is sensual and addictive, without losing any of its primordial power and wild magnetism.
